This week’s Etsy favourite is from Doodle Birdie based in Minnesota, USA, who make the most gorgeous terrariums!
Sadly these are only on our wishlist, as we don’t think Australia Post would allow us to ship-over live plants.
Happily, they are quite easy to make yourself and a perfect project for Autumn. To see how, watch this easy tutorial from one of our favourite plant stores in Brooklyn, NY; Sprout Home

This week’s Etsy favourite comes all the way from Israel. Timo Handmade is “a small design line, all hand-made. Sewn with an eye for detail and a touch for fabric. Being hand-made, each and every item is one of a kind.” Made from scraps of fabrics and old beads, these pretty dolls have their own personality and super cute outfits. And with names like “Romantic Lady” and “Mysterious Lady” how could we resist!

This week’s Etsy favourite comes from Katy Goutefangea an artist and printmaker based in East London, where she spends “a lot of time drawing and drinking cups of tea.”
We love her quirky sketches of dreaded Christmas jumpers knitted by your long lost Aunt. They make great cards and combined with her hand-printed wrapping paper, the prettiest presents under the tree.

These vintage buttons would be gorgeous enough, if they were just for sale as they are. But this weeks Etsy favourite comes from Andies Specialty Sweets, cake decorator extraordinaire, and these peppermint buttons are made of sugar! They also come in chocolate, vanilla and lemon-pie flavours, to coordinate with any cake… or outfit.

We love this week’s Etsy fav, a gingerbread house kit from California. And the best part is, there are 3 house options to choose from: a Frame Cabin, a Classic House and a San Francisco Victorian. Ordering gingerbread from The States may be a little ambitious, but at least they are great inspiration for your own home-made ones. And for those with a real architectural flair, we also love this mid-century modern ginger house too!

So since it officially December (!) we thought that our Etsy favourites should be a little Christmassy for the next 4 weeks. Exciting! Our first Chrissy favourite comes from Tennessee in the States. Lisa makes these gorgeous hand painted Santa’s out of driftwood, which means each one is unique. Love them.

This week’s Etsy favourite comes from Abigail Brown, a textile artist based in the UK. Her exquisite work is made entirely by hand, in her studio in London, and every piece is unique.
“Abigail is a continuous collector of fabrics, either bought new or used items she gathers to give new life to. Her pieces might be formed from her old pyjamas, someone’s curtains from the 1970′s or her friend’s old skirt. She loves the colour and vibrancy of the new fabrics but the life that still lives on in an old garment or piece of cloth, and enjoys the process of turning it into something new. Her work centres around animals because they fascinate and inspire her.”
