Apologies for the lack of posts! There has been sickness floating around the Tilly office, limiting us to days spent in bed sleeping and trying to recover!
Now that we are on the mend, let us introduce you to Madison Stewart. She’s a 18 year old Australian girl who is a passionate and dedicated sea conservationist. She is nicknamed “Shark-Girl” because of her total love and admiration for sharks:

Sharks are a worst-nightmare to many, but to Madison, they are gentle, beautiful creatures who are under serious attack and threat of extinction. Check out Madison’s video to learn more- it is so beautiful and interesting, and will most definitely bring a tear to your eye.
“Trusting sharks is very easy, because they are very predictable. They are potentially dangerous creatures, but so are dogs, its just all about knowing the movements, knowing to pick up when they are angry etc. I’ve filmed people hand feeding tiger sharks, hugging sharks, it really only takes a small while to understand their movements, its like playing tug of war with your puppy, only the puppy is really big!” – Madison Stewart, via SurfSister.
